Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using CardVenture (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

CardVenture is a Shopify application that transforms gift card delivery into AI-personalized interactive experiences. The Service includes: gift card product management, interactive experience delivery, email/SMS/WhatsApp delivery, analytics, and AI-generated content.

Merchant Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the gift card products you sell and the accuracy of pricing
  • You must comply with all applicable laws regarding gift cards in your jurisdiction
  • You are responsible for obtaining consent from gift card recipients for delivery communications
  • You must not use the Service for fraudulent, illegal, or harmful purposes

AI-Generated Content

CardVenture uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized content including stories, images, and interactive elements. AI-generated content is provided “as is” and may occasionally produce unexpected results. CardVenture is not liable for the content generated by AI systems.

Billing & Subscriptions

CardVenture uses Shopify's managed billing system. Subscription fees are billed monthly through your Shopify account. You may cancel at any time through the Shopify App Store. Refunds are handled according to Shopify's refund policies.

Intellectual Property

CardVenture's platform, experiences, and design are proprietary. Custom experiences built for your store are licensed exclusively to you. Your brand assets (logo, colors, name) remain your property and are used solely for delivering branded experiences to your customers.

Limitation of Liability

CardVenture is not liable for delivery failures caused by incorrect recipient information, email provider blocking, or third-party service outages. Our maximum liability is limited to the fees paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

Termination

Either party may terminate the Service at any time. Upon uninstallation, CardVenture will delete merchant data within 48 hours as described in our Privacy Policy. Gift card codes already delivered to recipients will continue to function through Shopify's native gift card system.
